I had issues with unit 3 blog so I was not
able to post. But as today on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate myself 9 for
psychological. I am pretty grounded and do not have any major issues mentally.
Except the few times my children “get on my nerves” and I want to get rid of
them. J Other than that I’m fine in that department. But I can always improve. 7
for physical because I am a work in progress with the physical. However, since
taking this class I have become more aware and am more dedicated to my yoga.
Where I was going once a week, I am now going two to three times per week
working my way to 5 times per week. Spiritual well-being I rate myself a 9 I am
pretty spiritually connected, I am active in my church and volunteer a lot, and
hold a leadership position in my church, however there is always room for
improvement. I would love to read the Bible more and with understanding.

I have made progress. I do one-half hour of
cardio and attend yoga classes more than once per week. I attend two to three
times per week. I have begun to pray more. I am still working on reading the
Bible with clarity.
3.
Yes. I have set aside certain days to go to
yoga and set aside a certain amount of time to do cardio before my yoga class.

This class has been very rewarding. It has
helped me to understand how important all aspects of well-being is. We usually
think of just the physical at first not realizing the other aspects of
well-being, spiritual and mental. If we are not healthy in all areas of our
life we are not 100% healthy. This class has helped me to understand why being
healthy in all areas are important. The hardest part of the class was some of
the meditation exercises. I have been telling others the importance of
well-being in all areas of our life.
Hi Marie,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've made great progress with your yoga practice. That's probably helping you in both areas, physical and the spiritual (meditation) aspect. You're inspiring me to try yoga again, as it will hopefully give me more flexibility with my knee issues... I wish you all the best with your continued efforts towards integral health and with your future studies.
