In the beginning it was easy. It also got a little
overwhelming with the section about taking pain of your loved one. Towards the
end my mind started drifting thinking about things I had to do. I think that
with time and continuing to practice I could concentrate and get it. I would
recommend it to someone else. It may be easier for them than for me. It does
not hurt to try.

Mental workouts are used to clear your mind, calm your
spirit and help you to become more focused. Research has proven that mental
workouts contribute to faster healing from illnesses, relieve stress and assist
with a healthier well-being. To foster my psychological well-being I can take
the time practice meditation, eat healthy, exercise and just stop and listen to
my inner self. One think I currently do is praying every morning before
starting my day is beneficial. I guess this is a form of meditation.
Hi Marie,
ReplyDeleteI had some difficulty with the same portion of the meditation. I did find it soothing when they said to breath out love, comfort, and peace for that person. I think with practice this overall can be beneficial.
I like your recommendations for mental workouts. I too find that taking the time to "listen" and for the quietness helps so much. It sure is easy to get caught up on the hamster wheel and forget to do it. It definitely takes conscious efforts... Hope you have good experiences this week practicing the meditations!
