The Subtle mind exercise was a lot easier than
the Loving Kindness exercise. Especially when we I had to take in the pain of a
loved one and give back no pain. That was pretty had to do. I also lost
concentration in the Loving Kindness exercise. I was able to relax more and my
mind did not drift. I felt light and at one point I could even feel and see the
water and waves. I was very calm and quiet during the Subtle mind exercise. I
am sure it would have been a lot better if I had not been interrupted by my
grandson towards the end.
Spiritual and mental wellness can help you
develop physical wellness. If you are in
a good place in your spirit and mind then you will be able to complete a
physical task easier. For example, if you are going to exercise and your mind
and spirit is not in it, you will not complete the task of exercising where it
will be effective. There are times when this happens to me. If I am not
prepared to exercise I will not get a good work out. When I am in this place I
take a yoga class to bring me back into my good spirit and a good mental place.
